Buildings, like Davyd’s church building and apartment building, are made of bricks. They make the buildings strong enough to withstand even a cold winter in Ukraine. But God builds and strengthens church congregations and families with love and encouragement, both from Him and working through Christians.
Cut out pieces of paper in the shape of a brick. On these pieces of paper, write out the Bible verses listed below. These verses all have to do with Christian love and encouragement. There are a lot of verses, aren’t there? Clearly loving and encouraging one another is very important. When we love and help unbelievers, they can understand what God’s love is like.

Intersperse the verses with paper bricks with the Bulgarian and Ukrainian names listed further down on this sheet. Do a computer search and find what those names mean (website links are at the end of the list of names). Each student in class should write out their name and what it means. Use all of the paper bricks to make a church building on a bulletin board.
